Opening Day

Today was the first time Sydney pitched in a U8 game.  She was very focused and had the best time.  It was their first game and their first win of the season.  YEAH!  

Sydney is Seven

Sydney had a great time at her birthday party at Big Z's.  She was so happy that all her friends came to celebrate with her.

Timeline of Sydney's Life

Today was the perfect day for the first grade project "Timeline of My Life" to be due and presented for Sydney, since it was her birthday and the start of her seventh year on the timeline. Great work Squid and Happy Birthday!  I am very proud of you.

Christmas 2008

Brady and Sydney's Christmas was a success.  They received everything they asked for from Santa.  They must have been REALLY GOOD kids this year.

All We Want For Christmas...

We went to Sydney's first grade class to listen to them sing "All I Want for Christmas are My Two Front Teeth."    

Christmas Carol

Brady, Raymond and the other preschool children sang for us in Bible Study today.  They are always so darling.  Brady would rather be playing cars than singing, he exclaimed as I was getting him dressed this morning.  He looked very bored as he yawned through most of the songs.  Raymond preformed other songs on the way home in the car for Jodi and I. 

Knott's

We went to Knott's Berry Farm with the 

Hayden's and the Moore's and had a great time. Sydney was too tall for a couple of the rides in Camp Snoopy. We can't believe it! Her favorite ride was Boomerang. Brady's favorite ride was the Race Cars.
